The PHCC-IA Policy Leader of the Year Award recognizes a legislator (or similar) who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, accessibility, and measurable impact in advancing policies that support PHCC-IA members and the broader community.

Nomination Questions

1. Alignment with PHCC-IA Mission
   How has the nominee demonstrated an understanding of issues important to PHCC and championed legislation that supports the goals, values, and sustainability of our members?
2. Legislative Leadership
   Describe specific examples of the nominee’s leadership in advocating for legislation, working across party lines, or demonstrating leadership in committee hearings or floor debates.
3. Accessibility & Engagement
   How has the nominee maintained open communication with PHCC leaders, staff, and members? Provide examples of seeking input from the association.
4. Advocacy for the Public Good
   In what ways has the nominee promoted policies benefiting not only PHCC members but also the broader community while upholding ethical standards?
5. Measurable Impact
   Describe the nominee’s tangible impact—such as influencing passage of critical legislation or preventing harmful legislation.
