PHCCIA 2024 Online Apprenticeship

This form should be used to register your apprentices for the 2024 winter cohort. The course will kick-off with a required apprentice virtual orientation in January. A late fee will be applied to for registrations after November 12.

PHCC of Iowa's Online Program is a 100% online program approved by the Department of Labor.

The cost for the online apprenticeship program for 2024 is $1,827 and includes the required textbook. A physical copy of the required textbook is only available to Plumbing students. HVAC books are only availble digitally.

A computer is necessary to complete the program, however PHCC of Iowa does not supply computers. Requirements of computers below:

•  System: Windows Vista or higher or Mac OS X 10.5 or higher
  •  Internet Speeds: Download: 1.5 Mbps min. and upload: 1 Mbps min.
  •  Hardware: 2 GB RAM min.
  •  Browsers: Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Firefox or Safari
  • Other Software: Adobe Flash Player v12, Adobe Shockwave Player
